Summary: We booked and paid for 2 months at Estate Garden Rock in St. Croix. The evening of our second day, I had an unexpected heart attack and was taken by ambulance to the hospital and flown to Puerto Rico for care. Thankfully, VRBO reimbursed 75% of the rental fee immediately without complication, for which we are appreciative and grateful. Brent, the assistant manager, went out of his way to help my wife pack and ship our suitcases home. We are deeply grateful for Brent’s help; he was superb!Although we were on site for less than 48 hours, the unit would benefit from more detailed cleaning. The dresser drawers were dirty needing to be wiped out before loading clothing. The coffee maker was dirty to the extent that we purchased a new one. The front door exterior was also quite dusty, leading to a negative first impression. We were not informed that the tap water was not safe to drink until the second day. We suggest that you provide prior notification to purchase bottled drinking water. Attending these hygiene details would help future renters feel comfortable in the unit. Tom and Charlene Fauria
