An environmentally friendly house located at the top of Ajax Peak overlooking Coral Bay and the British Virgin Islands, High House offers a quiet home to relax after a long day of fun in the sun. Coral Bay is just a short 5 minute drive away where groceries, restaurants, and shopping is available. The beautiful North Shore Park Beaches are 7-10 minutes where beautiful snorkeling and many hiking trails are available . If the surf is up and the North Shore Beaches get too rough, the South shore beach and East End beaches are only 10-15 minutes away. The two bedrooms have king size beds, full bathrooms, and sliders out to the deck with an awesome view. You can actually see the view from your bed!!! The kitchen has everything you need ; full size refrigerator, 4 burner stove and oven, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, and many other nice kitchen ware and utensils for making delicious meals. The great room has satellite TV, stereo system, a dining area and a comfortable sitting area. The deck also has a dining area as well. Many games are also available to play as well.
High House is completely off the grid, relying on solar energy to supply all your energy needs. A generator will automatically come on if the house calls for it (which is very rare) and is located a far distance from the house and you can not hear it. Rain water is collected off the roof into cisterns and treated with a filter system for drinking. Lush gardens around the house attract bananaquits and humming birds and red tails hawks are often seen gliding around off the deck.
Beautiful Sunrises and mellow sunsets are everyday experiences. The stars at night are an incredible sight as well. Located at the end of a paved road on a 5 acre parcel shared with only one other home, High House also offers privacy and solitude.
